Topgolf Vienna is a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue located south of Vienna in Brunn am Gebirge. A defining architectural feature of the facility is its impressive cable-supported outfield enclosure, where towering steel pylons and an expansive net structure create a striking visual landmark while ensuring the safe operation of the driving range.
PFEIFER Structures engineered, fabricated, and installed the sophisticated steel and cable structure for the outfield net system. The construction features pylons reaching heights of up to 55 metres and supports a cable-net enclosure spanning approximately 30.000 m². To ensure the slender pylons remain structurally stable under wind and operational loads, the system incorporates pre-tensioned guy cables that provide bending stiffness and prevent buckling. The combination of precision-engineered steelwork, high-performance cable technology, and meticulous installation resulted in a lightweight yet highly efficient structural solution that has become the defining feature of the venue.
