Project Accountant (m/f/d)

Your role with PFEIFER Structures

Independently manage project-related accounts receivable and accounts payable activities
Prepare and execute payment runs for the assigned project
Closely collaborate with Project Management on cash flow monitoring, liquidity planning, and project controlling
Manage commercial aspects of guarantees, bonds, and letters of credit within the project environment
Calculate and validate project provisions and accruals
Support the administration of project-related insurance matters
Contribute to monthly and annual closing activities
Perform general commercial and administrative tasks within the project environment

Fixed-term position expected to run until the end of 2028
Opportunity to contribute to an exciting large-scale project through the end of 2028
Part-time employment possible (minimum 24 hours per week)

Your attributes

Completed commercial apprenticeship, business administration degree, or a comparable qualification
Professional experience as a Project Accountant, Project Commercial Manager, or in a similar commercial project role, ideally within the construction industry
Solid knowledge of accounting, project controlling, and cash flow planning
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent analytical skills, strong numerical aptitude, and a structured, self-driven working style
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
French language skills are an advantage

Structural Engineer - Steel, Cable & Membrane Structures (m/f/d)

Your role with PFEIFER Structures

Independently prepare structural calculations and engineering verification documents for national and international construction projects, with a focus on steel, cable, aluminium, and membrane structures.
Design and size structural components, installation equipment, and erection sequences in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Develop cost-effective, innovative, and technically sophisticated structural solutions.
Provide technical support to the design team during the development and execution of projects.
Prepare technical reports, structural calculation documentation, and engineering design reports.
Review fabrication and construction drawings to ensure compliance with structural requirements and applicable standards.
Collaborate closely with internal departments as well as clients, architects, checking engineers, and external project partners.
Provide technical support throughout project execution, including manufacturing and site erection.
Contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes, with a particular focus on welding.

Your attributes

Successfully completed a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, Structural Design, or a comparable field.
Initial experience in structural engineering is an advantage; however, motivated graduates and entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Solid knowledge of structural analysis and structural design.
Proficiency in the use of common structural analysis and engineering calculation software.
Good knowledge of the Eurocodes as well as relevant national and international standards and regulations.
Strong analytical skills combined with a structured, independent, and detail-oriented approach to work.
High level of responsibility and commitment to quality.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.

• Independently manage national and international projects from contract award through to successful final acceptance
• Assume overall responsibility for schedules, costs, quality, and the commercial success of projects
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all project-related activities across the entire value chain
• Act as the central point of contact for customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments
• Ensure that manufacturing, delivery, and, where applicable, installation activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with defined quality standards
• Prepare, monitor, and actively manage project schedules, milestones, and critical project activities
• Prepare, maintain, and follow up on all project-related documentation and reporting
• Take responsibility for project controlling, including cost, risk, and opportunity management as well as monthly project reporting
• Ensure positive project cash flow and monitor project-related payment flows
• Manage tendering and procurement processes, including negotiations with and commissioning of subcontractors and suppliers
• Plan and conduct project meetings and ensure proactive communication with all internal and external project stakeholders
• Identify deviations at an early stage and initiate appropriate corrective and control measures
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in project execution

Ihre Qualitäten

• Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally within the construction, structural steel, façade, plant engineering, or lightweight structures sector
