The Stade de Luxembourg, opened in 2021, serves as the home venue for the country’s football and rugby national teams and represents a modern, compact approach to stadium design.
The structure of the facade is a diagonal cable net which is spread in two planes by compression rods. The space between the cables is filled by aluminum panels.
Its rectangular architecture is defined by:
- A clean, minimalist form with sharp, geometric lines
- A continuous façade made of vertical metal louvers, creating a uniform and elegant exterior appearance
- A fully covered roof that wraps around all four stands
The façade design allows for subtle transparency, letting light pass through while maintaining a cohesive outer shell.
